Open MRI

In the Fall of 2011 NW IA Bone, Joint & Sports Surgeons updated our Open Extremity MRI to the most advanced Open Musculoskeletal MRI in the region.

The Open Musculoskeletal MRI is ideal for patients who are anxious, claustrophobic, or those with physical limitations.

The Open, dedicated musculoskeletal design provides high quality images of the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. By having an Open MRI system on site in our Spencer clinic, you have more flexibility in the times available to schedule your test, usually on the same day or within a day or two of your appointment. We provide this service because we understand your time is valuable and want you to spend the least amount of time possible in the doctor’s office.

Bone Mineral Density Testing

We provide Bone Densitometry in our Spencer office.  This test can usually be done on the same day of your orthopedic exam.  At your next appointment ask your physician if a bone density exam is appropriate for you.
