Dr. Frushour graduated from the Ohio State University in 1975 and completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in 1979. He completed a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Miami. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Ohio until 2005, and practiced in Ohio for 18 years prior to joining NWIA Bone, Joint and Sports Surgeons in November 2005.

Dr. Frushour is a retired Colonel with thirty years of service in the United States Army and Air National Guard.
